UPDATE: On Sunday, October 26th the Special Assembly passed the motion which authorizes the parish to spend the money necessary to do the following repairs: Structural engineering for the nave and to St. Irene's Hall Floor Framing. We were also authorized to move forward with the Design Development for Option C and to finalize a contract to hire our fundraising consultant for six months. St. Nicholas in Lexington is a loving, Christ-centered church that works together to welcome all and serve the community. We have a thriving stewardship program; an impactful, flourishing religious education program that serves youth and adults; and an evangelism ministry that contributes to a growing church family. We do all of this in a facility that is structurally sound, creatively designed to meet our needs, and accessible to all.
As we begin the transformation of our facility, we invite everyone to stay actively engaged, informed, and enthusiastic about the exciting improvements ahead. So far, we have developed three early conceptual renderings of our facility.
